So I’ve been out on the lookout for dupes, and I found that Emily from emilynoel83 (GO CHECK HER OUT AND SUBSCRIBE TO HER!) had some great MAC dupes!
Here’s Emily’s video:
But today I’m here to tell you guys about some phenomenal URBAN DECAY and MAC dupes that I found from mainly Wet ‘n Wild eyeshadow palettes/trios which I am in LOVE with! These eyeshadows are not only creamy, beautiful, and quite affordable, but also are über pigmented whether they are shimmery or matte eyeshadows! These Wet ‘n Wild palettes run anywhere from $1.99 to $4.99 which is amazingly affordable and can be found at any drugstore (even my local Lucky’s grocery store). The following dupes are mainly for the Urban Decay Naked palette and the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. I have also found dupes for the Urban Decay Glinda palette! I also found MAC and Urban Decay eyeshadows that are virtually identical. Without further ado, here are some dupes as well as their swatches.
The Wet ‘n Wild trio Walking on Eggshells is a great dupe for a few Urban Decay shades in the Naked and Naked Basics palette. The “browbone” color from the trio (a creamy white shimmery shade) is an amazing dupe for Urban Decay’s Virgin and Venus. Virgin is slightly pinker and less shimmery, but Venus is virtually identical to the “browbone” color. The “eyelid” color (a shimmery pinky/champagne color) is the perfect dupe for Urban Decay’s Sin, and the “crease” color is a great dupe for Urban Decay’s Smog! Smog is slightly darker and more shimmery, but UD’s (Urban Decay) Buck is the perfect matte color that can be duped by the WnW (Wet ‘n Wild) Walking on Eggshells “crease” color.
Next, I have dupes from WnW’s Blue Had Me at Hello palette which features eight amazing shadows! The dupes are for UD’s Creep and Crave which are a shimmery black shade and a matte black called the “definer” shadows in their palette. Emily above mentions that the matte black from the WnW palette is also a dupe with even better formulation for MAC’s Carbon. However, I beg to disagree as even though the WnW matte black is beautiful, UD’s Crave still reigns as my go-to matte black.
Now WnW’s palette Comfort Zone is also an eight-shadow palette that features amazing greens and neutral colors! I found an exact duplicate of UD Darkhorse with one of the darker brown shades called also the “definer” shadow from the WnW palette.
Now I have some dupes for the UD Glinda Palette from the WnW eight-shadow palette in Petal Pusher. They aren’t exact dupes but by mixing some of the shades and building up the color, the same colors from UD can be created.
Here I have UD’s Walk of Shame or WOS (Naked Basics) and Foxy (In Naked 2 palette and Naked Basics) which are exact copies of MAC’s Brulé and MAC’s Vanilla. Compared to Vanilla, which is more pink-based, Brulé is more of a yellow-based skin-colored shade.
My last dupe is for MAC’s Satin Taupe which is the “eyelid” shade from WnW’s Silent Treatment trio. These colors are perfect dupes.
